Kayland Ankle Lock System is the exclusive Kayland system allowing a precise and secure closure of the ankle, while guaranteeing at the same time, the possibility to move naturally.

The standout feature of Stellar range is its sole unit: the foot sits directly on the soft EVA midsole that provides enhanced cushioning during footstrike and impacts on rough terrain. The Vibram® Stellar sole unit has been designed exclusively for Kayland. The internal construction features a honeycomb design that lightens the structure, enhances thermal insulation and delivers excellent shock absorption. The encased midsole in dual density PU foam sits above the PU insole, which is also perforated to reduce weight and increase torsional stability. The sole unit contains an integrated welt to take semi-automatic crampons.
